Blake Bergen is a young professional dedicated to public service and cultural exchanges. He is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in the Southwestern Chinese province of Sichuan from 2015 to 2017. Before embarking overseas as a goodwill ambassador, Blake worked as a federal employee and freelance photographer in Washington, DC. His drive to capture prose in focus has brought him and his camera around the world. A talented photographer, he has covered a diverse array of events, composed hundreds of portraits, and built up a travel photography portfolio as colorful and eccentric as he is!

Blake’s photographs capture the personality of his subjects – from that special gleam in your daughter’s eye to that sassy dash of spice in your restaurant’s signature dish.

His other interests include international and domestic politics, particularly with respect to gender and LGBTQ issues.
